Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the HappensNext mobile application ("App") operated by Antonio Martinez ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems connected to the App
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App
3. Third-Party Services
The App optionally integrates with third-party services:
- Apple iCloud — for data sync across your devices, subject to Apple's iCloud Terms.
- Anthropic API — for the optional AI Note Capture feature. Use of this feature requires your own Anthropic API key and is subject to Anthropic's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or output of Anthropic's services.
- Apple Speech Recognition — for optional voice dictation, subject to Apple's terms.
We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services.
4. Your Data
You retain full ownership of all content you create within the App. We do not access, store, or claim any rights over your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
5. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for any data loss.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Antonio Martinez shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Changes to the App
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
